We offer enriching early childhood music programs to babies, toddlers and young children in the heart of Toronto Beach
The early years are the best time to nurture your child’s musical growth and our classes are designed to provide a variety of experiences that support your child’s language, social, emotional and physical development. Our curriculum is child-centric and combines the music education philosophies of Kodály, Orff and Eurhythmics. Through a carefully selected repertoire of traditional nursery rhymes and songs, as well as music based on folk heritage, children will explore the elements of music such as rhythm, beat, pitch, dynamics, form, timbre and harmony – all presented in a stimulating, creative and interactive atmosphere.
The joy of making music is a rich and rewarding experience for young children. At My Musical Upbringing our goal is to lay the earliest foundation for a meaningful connection to music and to lead children toward a love and knowledge of music.
