Students are allowed to make up any missed classes on an alternate day that the class is offered. Please be aware that you may be required to attend class on a different day at a different time. All make-up classes are subject to space availability and must be arranged in advance with My Musical Upbringing. Missed classes must be made up within the same term and cannot be carried over to the next term. No refunds are given for student absences.

For Private Lessons:

Private students are permitted one make-up lesson per term (Sep-Dec, Jan-Mar and Apr-Jun), provided that the student/parent gives the teacher at least 24 hours notice.

Make-up lessons must be scheduled during the term within which they are cancelled and are not transferable to future school year. Additional make-up lessons will be at the discretion of the teacher.

Missed lessons due to emergency matters (e.g. sickness) with less than 12 hours notice may be made up based on the teacher’s availability.

Last-minute cancellations and no-shows will be forfeited and cannot be made up or refunded.

Participation of Caregivers
Students enrolled in the Baby, Baby/Toddler and Toddler classes must be accompanied by a parent or caregiver. In the Preschooler classes, children 3 years old may be accompanied by a caregiver for the first class, however, the goal is for the children to attend unaccompanied. Children 4 years of age and older attend classes independently; open classes for parents are scheduled in December and June of the school year.
