Anita Lin
(Flute, Piano, Dalcroze Music Movement)
Anita is a flutist, pianist, and certified Dalcroze educator with over 20 years of experience in music teaching and performance. She is passionate about guiding students of all ages and levels and specializes in creating engaging and supportive learning experiences for children. Anita also leads music and movement programs for older adults at retirement home and senior community centre and collaborates with the University of Ottawa on a research project exploring the benefits of music and movement for older adults.
Anita holds an Artist Diploma in Flute Performance from The Glenn Gould School of The Royal Conservatory of Music, a Music Diploma from Vancouver Community College, and a Bachelor of Education in Music from the National Hsinchu University of Education in Taiwan, where she majored in flute and minored in piano. She also holds a Dalcroze Certificate and is currently pursuing her Dalcroze License at the Dalcroze School of Music and Movement.
Marcello Fiorini
(Drum/Guitar/Piano)
Marcello is a drummer, pianist, producer and educator from Toronto, Canada. He holds a Bachelor of Music degree from York University and performs in Toronto as an active freelance musician. His career started in jazz music music while at YorkU, where he studied with Al Henderson, Anthony Michelli, Mark Eisenman, Kelly Jefferson and many more. Marcello teaches a variety of instruments with professional training in Piano, Guitar, and Drums. He enjoys teaching music of all genres to challenge his students with music that is most interesting to them.
Oliver Peart
(Piano)
Oliver Peart started his piano studies with Rhuza Schochmannova of the Conservatory Arrigo Boito in Parma, Italy. He later moved to Toronto and completed his ARCT Diploma in Piano Performance, studying with Peter Longworth. He was awarded the Royal Conservatory of Music’s Gold Medal for Grade 10 Piano in 2014, and placed second in his age category at the 2016 Canadian Music Competition national finals with a performance of Grieg’s Piano Concerto no. 1. He completed his Bachelor of Music in Piano Performance at University of Toronto in 2022, studying with Prof. Enrico Elisi. He plays classical repertoire at venues around Ontario, and has given concerts in Italy and Central Asia. He also works as an accompanist and piano teacher.
Snow Diao
(Piano)
Snow is a piano teacher, pianist, and composer currently pursuing a Master of Music at UofT after earning her Bachelor of Music from UBC. She has completed RCM ARCT level studies in both piano and theory, and has nearly five years of teaching experience with students from age 5 to adults. She has taught beginners, returning students, and students preparing for RCM exams. Snow adapts her lessons to each student’s age, goals, and learning style, focusing on strong foundations, musical understanding, and confidence. She aims to make each lesson encouraging, engaging, and something students can look forward to each week.
